Trick Photography Review

I am not a good photographer. My photography is nowhere near as incredible or inspiring as Man Ray photography. In fact, I probably fall closer to the “Really Bad Photographer” side of the scale, or at least I used to. I love taking pictures and always have wanted to create like Xanga photography. Everyone told me I really should find a different hobby. Then I found “Trick Photography and Special Effects”. There is hope for my photography.

Actually, this all seemed a little too easy and simple to me. The more I read the more skeptical I became. I mean, they were saying that I could successfully take cool pictures. I didn’t even need any special skills or equipment. Then to top it they would take me step by step through the process. Just like having someone to hold my hand and make sure that I didn’t make any mistakes.

As if this wasn’t enough, they have made it an eBook and video tutorials so I didn’t have to wait for mailing. Then they throw in the extras and offered a money back guarantee. I was sold! I mean a money back guarantee on a book amd training materials that will teach me to produce photos like a professional photographer. That’s a steal!

Well, I have to say, I have not been disappointed. This book has it all written explanations, stunning, creative, pictures, and even some how-to tutorials. They could have easily titled this book “Trick Photography for Dummies”.

The written instructions are superb. They are very easy to understand and well written. I love the examples. I love having a mix of written instructions that can guide me step by step through the process. There are times that I have had to read it over and over to “get it”, so that has been very nice to have. It is also written in an easy to read way, no boring textbook style.
The hours of how-to video are very well done. It was enjoyable to watch and see the process; sometimes it is easier to understand things when you see them this way. It gave me a new way of looking at Man Ray photography and thinking that perhaps I would be able to get close to that quality.

Last, but not least, was the photography. I think I could have been happy with just looking at the pictures. Learning to able to use those techniques was an added bonus! I once again have hope that I may someday make a name for myself in the world of photography, or at least among my family and peers. With the education and tricks that I have learned I can be sure that it will be a name more akin to Man Ray photography than to the loser I had been.

There are only two bad things that I can say about this product. First is that it took away my excuse for bad photography. Secondly, there absolutely needs to be a “Book 2″. This is really a must have for any amateur that wants to get professional looking results from their pictures.
